AERIAL PHOTOGRAPHY SERVICES
Greetings! Cicada Camera is a professional Aerial Drone Photography Service located in the Central Savanna River Area (CSRA) and operative via phone, e-mail or web. There is no office. Your pilot is an experienced Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Certified Aerial Drone Pilot offering Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) services to the public, law enforcement entities, real-estate, land managers, and construction companies. Rates are highly competitive, as I'm building a passion in to a profession while seeking new clientele with introductory rates. If you have ever considered aerial photography, now is the time. Find me in the areas around Aiken, SC to Augusta, GA.
Thank you for looking me up!
Did you know that "Cicada" is Latin for Tree Cricket or a synonym for buzzing? The word Camera originates from "camera obscura", meaning "dark chamber"
Volunteer services are available for Emergency First Responders. Please contact me for details.
Support while on Job Site
While on your job site Cicada Camera will bring their own personal supplies and any OSHA standard equipment for the duration of the job if required. Be sure to let your pilot know when scheduling. The pilot requires a 10-foot radius to operate the drone safely as a dedicated take-off / landing zone. The equipment is all battery powered. While fully charged at the start of every job, environmental and job duration factors may require additonal charging of equipment for an hour or so.
The pilot will not deploy the aircraft if there are adverse weather conditions (ex. rain or high winds), un-wavered FAA restrictions, hazard or safety considerations, or the activity is not in compliance with part FAA Part 107 UAS statues. The pilot always retains the final say whether to deploy.
Insurance, Liability Waivers, Volunteer
Equipment is fully insured, and the pilot has comprehensive health coverage. Cicada Camera is willing to sign a "Hold Harmless (Indemnity) Agreement" or release of liability waiver when assisting any first responder of any governing body.
Limit of Liability
While your pilot is experienced and uses professional grade equipment, the sophisticated technology has unpredictable quirks despite comprehensive pre-flight checks. On extremely rare occasions, there may be factors that affect the ability to fly or function as expected. An example is a firmware update from the aircrafts manufacturer that must be installed before flying, and often requires synchronization to all supporting peripherals may cause lift off delays. Additionally, the pilot is obligated to comply with all FAA regulations; should a FAA Notification to Airmen (NOTAM) go out restricting or prohibiting flight in a given area, the pilot cannot take off. Airspace is checked upon task assignment, the day before and six hours prior to the work. Should this occur, Cicada Camera is only liable up to the cost of the hire if an acceptable alternative cannot be reached. Damages from technological issues beyond the control of the pilot, or federal statues in the form of any revenue loss, or other consequence, is not responsibility of Cicada Camera.
